I just got some of those red reflective letters you put on mailboxes so I could stick "Don't Panic" on the back of my kindle case. :D

My two year quest to find a red trenchcoat that fits me is finally at an end. Now all I need is a red fedora and I am set for October.

So when I have a metric crapton of tabs open in firefox (as I usually do), it tends to shift my list of tabs to the first one before going back to the tab I am actually on when I switch to or from firefox. So if I am going back to firefox from another window, trying to click a tab results in a different tab being selected because the frelling bar is scrolling on me. Firefox, why you hate me? Who thought this was an excellent design option?

Please send help, tab no longer looks like a word.

I had a $10 off gift card and a 15% off coupon so I went to Kohl's. And guess what I found in the clearance rack? A green Eisenhower jacket. And there was only one. And it was in my size! And there wasn't a clearance sticker, but it was on the clearance rack so I went to the price check machine and was like 'pleasepleaseplease' and IT WAS.

Carmen Sandiego is going to have to wait for next year, this was clearly destiny.

Does anyone want a free movie ticket? It has to be used by the end of the year.

Is anyone's flist looking weird today? Mine is suddenly 10 entries a page, after being 20 for the past 6 years. I can't find anything in the settings to switch it back.

ETA: Found the settings for it, idg why they would randomly change that though.

Must be speedy to the airport right after lab tomorrow. Heading to Baltimore for Kristin's wedding! Now if only the roommate would stop hogging the dryer so I can finish laundering the stuff I need to pack.

Wow, it kinda feels like I'm the only one who thought Torchwood was surprisingly awesome. It was all dark and morally ambiguous, and dear lord, someone taught the monkeys what a plot is and how to execute one effectively.

I have a ~two week break between the end of my summer classes and the beginning of the new semester. I am deliberating between going to NY to see the family for two weeks (Aug 6th-21st), or going to the IAI Conference for a week. Shiny panels on fingerprinting vs. adorable babycakeses. Decisions are HARD, yo.

Boo, went by Walmart before class hoping to find some on-sale Easter candy. They had nothing. Very disappointing.

Urgh, they ended up moving my Trace exam to Wednesday, so now I have a lab report due on Tuesday, a giant lab until 7:30pm, then my Trace exam 8:30am Wednesday and then a paper due and a presentation right after. Why do they insist on pushing all my stuff together? I was happy with it spaced out!

If this semester is good for one thing, it's reminding me of how much I loathe Excel. And I have my next Advanced Analyt test this week. *shudder*

At least I have a newly tie-dyed lab coat and awesome license plates to cheer me up. I saw a "WTF NOOB" one the other day, which I dub as nifty as the "L GRECO" one I saw awhile back. I long for it.

...some lawncare guy just came to the door and asked me if my mom or dad or someone who could make decisions was home. I'm twenty four! I LOOK twenty four! WTF.

Test was mediocre.

First exam of the semester was sort of brutal. Was way more polymers than I was expecting. Next is Advanced Analytical Chem on Thursday. I just want to curl up and sleep.
